Praia do Porto do Mos is a long, wide and sandy beach that is flanked by cliffs and is a favourite beach for locals in this area. The bay is stunning and offers ample parking and two very good restaurants overlooking the beach. The sand here is soft and clean and perfect for families that come here to play in the crashing surf. There are plenty of sun loungers and shades that are available for hire and the beach is big enough to ensure there is always enough space for everyone. If you are staying around the Lagos area, this bay is certainly worth a visit, especially in the winter when it is wonderfully quiet.
